Matt Welland is an experienced professional in animal management, currently serving as the Large Carnivore Senior Keeper at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve & Howletts Wild Animal Park since February 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Keeper and Carnivore Keeper at Longleat from September 2016 to January 2021, and as a Carnivore Keeper at Woburn Safari Park from September 2014 to September 2015. Matt Welland acquired a Foundation Degree in Animal Management and Welfare from Harper Adams University between 2013 and 2016, following a Higher National Diploma in Animal Management from WCG from September 2011 to July 2013.
