Jan Melzer has extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly with Porsche Leipzig GmbH since November 2008, where roles have included Leitung der Werksplanung Karosseriebau, Leiter Planung Karosseriebau Macan, and Fachreferent Planung Karosseriebau. Responsibilities have encompassed plant planning for multiple body constructions, process and system planning, and technical change management for the Cayenne E2. Prior work at Bertrandt Group involved project and quality management for projects commissioned by Daimler AG. Jan Melzer holds a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from the University of Applied Sciences at Zwickau, awarded in August 2007.
