Chris Burke currently serves as the Parks and City Services Operations Manager for Porirua City Council, a role held since March 2023. Prior to this, Chris worked as the Senior Reserves Officer at Selwyn District Council from July 2016 to December 2022, and as a Supervisor in Greenspace at City Care Ltd from April 2002 to July 2016. Chris holds a Level 4 qualification in First Line Management from CPIT (Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology).
