David Jarratt is an experienced sustainability design professional currently serving as Associate Principal and Sustainability Design Lead EMEA at Populous since April 2023. Prior to this role, Jarratt was the Architectural Director and Head of Sustainability at Ryder Architecture from July 2021 to March 2023. Previous positions include Associate Director at Atelier Ten, Technical Tutor at the University of Melbourne's Melbourne School of Design, and Associate Director and Sustainability Practice Leader at AECOM. Jarratt has also contributed as a Committee Member for the Sustainable Buildings Committee at Property Council and held the position of Director at WSP Built Ecology, focusing on high-performance design strategies in the built environment. An early role as an Environmental Design Consultant at Stantec further established Jarratt’s expertise. Jarratt holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
