Megan Groves is the Founder and CEO of Population, a company focused on continuous, real-time pathogen intervention technology and a patent-pending health intelligence platform. Megan has also been recognized as the Winner of Plug and Play's 2021 IoT and Mobility Startup Award and the Gold Winner of the Stevie Award for Women - Best New Product 2022. Prior to Population, Megan has been an Angel Investor in multiple early-stage startups and the Founder of Modular, an email, data, and marketing automation partner for brands and startups. Megan has served as a mentor for Techstars programs and has been an active member and advisor for various organizations such as Chief, Electric Potential, Grishin Robotics, LVNDR Health, SoloKeys, and Ignite Talks PBC.
Megan Groves has a diverse education history. Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Communications from The Evergreen State College, which they attended from 1998 to 2000. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Global Marketing and Business Strategy from Thunderbird School of Global Management. During the same period, they also obtained a Cross-Cultural Communications Certificate from the same institution. Megan further enhanced their educational background by attending a Growth & Metrics Training program with Andrew Chen at the Silicon Valley Business Review in 2015. Megan later went on to pursue another MBA, this time with a Global Business focus on the Latin American region at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. Most recently, in 2019, Megan enrolled in the VC Unlocked program at Stanford University, but the end year of their studies was not mentioned.
