Maggie G. is a journalism professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and International Studies from Northwestern University. Currently serving as an intern at Popular Science since January 2022, Maggie previously held the position of Journalism Fellow at the Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts (NU-ACCESS), where responsibilities included reporting and managing social media accounts. Prior experience includes serving as an Administrative Aide at Northwestern University Medill School and as a Team Leader at Newsroom by the Bay, guiding high school students in journalism. Additionally, Maggie worked as a Bay Curious Intern at KQED, contributing to podcast content and social media strategy, and as a Stringer for GateHouse Media, where notable work was tweeted by Massachusetts Governor Baker.
