Hey, y’all, we’re Popeyes®. Our story starts in New Orleans in 1972.  What began with one small restaurant and one big idea turned into a craze that swept America, when our founder Al Copeland crafted a chicken recipe rooted in authentic, Louisiana-style cooking traditions. 3,000 stores worldwide later, it’s now time for our famous chicken to land in the UK.

We’re shaking up the UK chicken game Louisiana style. Here in the UK, we use 100% Fresh British Chicken marinated for 12 hours in our signature blend of Louisiana herbs & spices. Then breaded and battered by hand to create that famous Popeyes® shatter crunch texture.

From Louisiana to London, we have big plans for nation domination over the next few years. So sit tight, a store will be poppin’ up near you soon.
