Zawed Nawaz is an experienced professional in the finance industry, currently serving as Head of Recovery at Poonawalla Fincorp since September 2024. Previously, Zawed held several key positions at YES BANK from April 2018 to September 2024, including National Collection Head for Auto, TW, Gold Loan, and LAS, as well as Regional Head for North & East Consumer Loans. Zawed's tenure at HDFC Bank spanned from May 2004 to March 2018, where responsibilities included Regional Manager for Risk Intelligence & Control, Regional Recovery Manager, and Area Collections Manager for the East and North regions. Zawed began the career at CITICORP CREDIT SERVICES INDIA LTD as a Senior Executive in Collections from October 2000 to April 2004. Zawed holds a PGDBA from Annamalai University.
