Vedet Stevens is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Group Finance Executive at Polyoak Packaging since March 2019, Vedet has a strong background in financial management and consultancy. Prior to this position, Vedet worked as a Finance & Business Process Consultant, assisting enterprises like Faurecia in enhancing their financial operations. At Faurecia, from January 2005 to April 2017, Vedet held key positions, establishing and managing the Financial Shared Services Centre in South Africa. Other notable roles include Financial Accountant at Christie Leonie Fishing and Financial Manager at DORBYL Automotive Technologies. Vedet began a career at KPMG, gaining valuable experience in audit and client management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Nelson Mandela University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
