Joe Harless has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. As a Deputy Sheriff at the Polk County Sheriff's Office in Iowa since April 2015, Joe is currently assigned to the Probation/Parole Fugitive Unit and has previously served on the Metro SWAT Team. From July 2002 to April 2015, Joe worked as a Detention Officer with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, where responsibilities included ensuring the safety and security of the jail and managing inmate disturbances and medical emergencies. Prior to this, Joe served in the U.S. Army from August 1996 to December 2000 as a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division.
