Michela Longo is an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, where responsibilities include researching energy sustainability in distribution networks supporting electric mobility and renewable sources. Longo also holds the title of Ricercatore senior and had previously worked as an Assegnista di ricerca. Since October 2009, Longo has been certified to practice as an engineer through FOIM. As a co-founder of Gremove from June 2019 to May 2021, Longo contributed to innovative solutions in urban mobility. Longo has served as a Visiting Lecturer multiple times at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on predictive models of urban mobility integrated with renewable energy sources. Longo earned a Dottore di Ricerca in Meccatronica, Informazione, Tecnologie Innovative e Metodi Matematici from Università degli Studi di Bergamo between 2009 and 2012.
