Sammi Carwardine is an experienced communications professional specializing in internal communications and engagement within the policing sector. Currently serving as the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager at the Police Digital Service since March 2022, Sammi previously held roles at the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner, including Digital Content & Campaigns Manager and Digital Content Manager. Throughout the career, responsibilities included managing digital content, social media engagement, and the implementation of innovative public engagement programs. Earlier experience as a Senior Library Assistant at East Sussex County Council helped develop strong customer service and communication skills. Sammi holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from The Open University.
