Mikael Alkmark is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Business Lead and Deputy CFO at Polestar since April 2021, Mikael previously held the position of Deputy CEO and EVP Finance at Hedin Group from August 2016 to March 2021. Mikael's earlier career at Swedbank spanned a decade, where various senior roles included Deputy Head of Risk for Swedish Banking and Head of Credit Risk for several regions. Prior experience includes managerial roles at KPMG and an analyst position at PwC. Mikael holds multiple Master’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance from institutions such as the University of Gothenburg, Grenoble Ecole de Management, and University College Cork, accompanied by executive education credentials from Harvard Business School in Risk Management and Turnaround Management Strategies.
