Joe Grygiel is an experienced Equipment Engineer with a strong background in wafer production environments, currently employed at Polar Semiconductor since April 2021 as a BEOL Equipment Engineer. Previous roles include a contract position at TSI Inc as a Technician Thin Films III and extensive experience at Seagate Technology from July 1994 to August 2020, where Joe held multiple positions culminating in a Sr Staff Equipment Engineer role. Responsibilities across various positions have included ownership of tool sets, implementing six sigma and lean projects, and technical writing for equipment documentation. Joe's early career at Topcon Technologies as an Electrical Engineer involved field service and installation of Scanning Electron Microscopes. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry University.
