Junwei Hafner-Cai is a seasoned professional in sustainable thematic equity management, currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst at Polar Capital since September 2021. Previously, Junwei Hafner-Cai held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at Robeco from January 2010 to September 2021, focusing on thematic and impact investing, including the management of sustainable theme funds targeted at environmental and social objectives. Junwei Hafner-Cai was the lead portfolio manager for the RobecoSAM Gender Equality equities fund, successfully raising over EUR 300 million in assets under management since its launch. Additionally, Junwei Hafner-Cai served as a Senior Equity Analyst for the RobecoSAM Sustainable Water fund, where responsibilities included stock selection and fundamental analysis. Junwei Hafner-Cai's earlier roles included positions at EFG Bank as a Junior Portfolio Manager and at Credit Suisse and Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers.
