Jin Xi Cheong has been working in the field of business and technology since 2011. In 2011, they were an intern at Terasaki, where they were responsible for re-evaluating production assembly flows and overseeing the restructuring process of new production lines. In 2012, they were an industrial trainee at Jacobs Engineering Group (formerly Sinclair Knight Merz). In 2013, they were a Management Consulting Intern at Accenture, where they were involved with Front-end client facing for evaluation of User Acceptable Tests (UAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT). In 2014, they were a Finance Intern at Intel Corporation, where they conducted technical interviews, data mined multiple databases, and presented findings to non-technical audiences. In 2015, they were a Senior Finance Business Analyst at Intel Corporation, where they drove strategic initiatives in operations to improve efficiency and cost optimization. In 2018, they co-founded Drone Academy Asia, Malaysia's #1 Civil Aviation (CAAM) Approved Remote Pilot Training Organization. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Aonic (formerly Poladrone), an all-in-one drone solutions provider for enterprises.
Jin Xi Cheong attended Camberwell High School from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained their Victorian Certificate of Education. Jin Xi then attended Monash University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (BAero) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Jin Xi also holds certifications from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority for Aeronautical Radio Operator and Remote Pilot License (RePL) and a Train The Trainer certification from the Human Resources Development Fund Malaysia.
