Dan Stephens

Lead Graphic Designer at The Pokémon Company International

Dan Stephens has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design. Dan began their career as a Graphic Designer at Digital Lizard in 2012, where they designed custom artwork and templates for B2B clients. Dan also created promotional materials for the company and worked on graphic design projects for various customers.

In 2014, Dan worked as a Graphic Designer on a contract basis for TrueBlue Inc. and Lumicor. During their time at TrueBlue Inc., they focused on graphic design projects, while at Lumicor, they took on a freelance role.

Later that year, Dan joined Pacific Market International as a Packaging Production Designer. Dan'sresponsibilities included assisting the Visual Communications team with various projects and creating packaging mock-ups. Dan also supported the team in file organization and pre-press/pre-flight packaging files for production.

In 2014, Dan also worked as a Contract Graphic Designer at The Creative Group, where they utilized their skills in graphic design.

Dan's most recent position was at The Pokémon Company International, where they started in 2015 as a Graphic Designer III (Senior). Dan was involved in video game packaging design and localization, as well as the localization of the Pokémon Trading Card Game packaging. Dan worked closely with the International editing team to ensure packaging accuracy.

In 2023, Dan was promoted to Lead Graphic Designer at The Pokémon Company International and continued to contribute to their graphic design projects.

Outside of their employment, Dan has their own design business called Dan Stephens Design, where they work as a Visual Designer and Principle. Dan communicates clearly with clients, follows best design practices, and maintains a strong attention to detail. Dan also builds networking relationships to expand their freelance opportunities.

Dan Stephens has a strong educational background with degrees from the University of Idaho. Dan pursued their Bachelor of Science in Marketing from 1998 to 2003. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Dan completed their Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Web Design from the same university.
