Adam Hass is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the ethanol industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at POET since March 2016, Adam oversees an engineering team of six process engineers supporting multiple ethanol facilities across the United States, while also managing capital expenditures and project evaluations. Prior to this role, Adam held the position of Director of Engineering at Abengoa from February 2004 to March 2016, where responsibilities included managing engineering operations and leading a facility's Human Resources, Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Quality, Safety, and Environmental departments. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned between 1999 and 2002.
