Valery Emilia Martinez Almeida is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in community engagement and education. Currently serving as Poderosa Fellow at Poder Latinx and Community Education Fellow at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Phoenix, Valery focuses on developing educational curricula for community members and enhancing volunteer experiences. Previous roles include serving as a Promotions & Research Intern for TheDream.US and a Legislative Advocacy Fellow for the Arizona Students' Association. Valery holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Grand Canyon University and has pursued further education in public administration and Middle Eastern studies. Throughout various positions, Valery has demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and support for underrepresented communities.
