Taka OMAE is an experienced strategist currently serving as the Chief Strategist at the ITER Organization since April 2018, where responsibilities include developing and executing a global strategy for the ITER Project to address energy challenges. Taka OMAE also works as an Angel Investor at Pocket Marche since 2016 and has held various positions at Strategy& within the PwC network from July 2014 to March 2018, initially as a Senior Associate and later as a Manager, focusing on R&D and new business development strategies in the technology sector. Prior experience includes roles at NTT Communications spanning over a decade, with positions as Regional Head for South India and Marketing Director in Beijing and Shanghai, contributing to digital transformation and product management in the Greater China region. Taka OMAE holds an MBA from HKUST Business School, an MBA from an exchange program at Esade, a BA from the University of Tsukuba, and has completed an exchange program in Political Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.
