Sumit Jiyani is a seasoned software engineer with expertise in backend development and AI solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineer II at Pocket FM since September 2023, Sumit previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at RazorThink, where the focus was on developing back-end APIs using Python, FastAPI, and SQLAlchemy for the “Razorthink Foresight” demand forecasting product. A diverse background includes roles at InfoObjects Inc., where Sumit contributed to software engineering and big data projects utilizing Python, Java, and Scala, along with solid experience in RESTful services and Apache Spark. Additional internships at Celebal Technologies and LinuxWorld Informatics provided exposure to data engineering and distributed computing. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from The LNM Institute of Information Technology.
