Melodi King is an experienced professional with a robust background in geospatial solutions and engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Web GIS Admin Analyst at the Public Service Company of New Mexico since January 2020, Melodi also operates Smallmelo GIS, LLC, as the Owner and Cartographic Engineer, focusing on innovative geospatial projects for scientific, engineering, and governmental applications. Previous roles include Volunteer Brigade Captain at Code for ABQ and GIS Developer at USDA-NRCS, where Melodi created GIS-based applications. Melodi also has experience as a Temp GIS Technician at Statistical Research, Inc., a Mathematics Tutor at Northland Pioneer College, and a Junior Analyst at Merck. Melodi holds a Master's degree in Geographic Information Science from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
