Fernando Munoz began their career in 1997 as a Switching Engineer at BellSouth. Fernando then moved to Telefónica in 2005, where they held the roles of Network Operations Manager and Lead Switching Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a Project Manager - Network Planning & Optimization at Nokia Siemens Networks and as Chief Executive Officer at Teleconsult Cia. Ltda. Fernando was then a Project Manager at Amdocs from 2013 to 2016, and a Senior Project Manager at SBA Communications from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they started at CNT Ecuador as a Risk Manager, and in 2022 they became a CAPM Chief Trainer at PMO Advisory.

Fernando Munoz has a wealth of educational experience. Fernando obtained a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Telecommunications Engineer degree from Escuela Politécnica Nacional between 1986 and 1996. Fernando also has a Bachelor degree in Physics & Mathematics from Colegio Americano de Quito, which they obtained between 1972 and 1986. Additionally, Munoz has obtained several certifications, including a Certified AgilityHealth Facilitator for SAFe from AgilityHealth (2021), a Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org (2020), a Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile (2020), a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from Telefonica (2008), a Six Sigma Black Belt from BellSouth International, Inc. (2004), a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from BellSouth International, Inc. (AT&T) (2004), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (2016).
