Karen Corliss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering consultancy, primarily within the consumer packaged goods and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group since 2016, Karen manages capital projects for Food, Beverage, and Personal Care companies. Additionally, Karen contributes to PMMI's Future Workforce Committee, promoting opportunities in the processing and packaging industry for youth. As the founder of iamamaker.org, a nonprofit organization, Karen engages and inspires future generations of makers. Previous roles include co-founding the Colorado Maker Hub, serving as an engineering consultant for Fortune 500 companies, and managing projects at various organizations, showcasing a strong commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the maker community. Karen holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
