Arvind Gidwani is currently an advisor at Promethium, but they have held many notable positions in the tech industry in the past. Arvind was most recently the CIO & GM of Managed Cloud Services at MapR Technologies, and before that, they were the Global Group Vice President of Oracle Cloud. Prior to that, Gidwani was the VP of Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture at SAP, and before that, they were the Director of Cloud Computing at Nirvanix Inc.

Gidwani has been instrumental in the success of many companies throughout their career. At Nirvanix Inc, they successfully led the implementation of the hybrid cloud storage for a large service provider in Switzerland. Arvind also partnered with Enterprise customers to implement Cloud storage across the enterprise. In addition, they closed major cloud storage deals with fortune 100 companies while at Nirvanix Inc.

At Oracle, Gidwani was responsible for building key alliances with NetApp, Symantec, Verizon, Swisscom, Commvault, Riverbed, and F5. Arvind also assisted Amylin in building a comprehensive cloud computing strategy spanning Infrastructure, Data Centers, Apps and dev. platforms.
