Alex Dempsey worked as a Quality Engineer at Plymouth Tube Company starting in March 2017. Prior to this, they were a Production Supervisor at Yokohama Tire Corporation from October 2014 to March 2017. In this role, Alex practiced and taught safety, received extensive overseas training, and was skilled in construction of Standard Operating Procedures. They also gained experience in decision making, department management, machine operations, and accident investigation. Before that, Alex was a Group Lead in the machine shop at Hol-Mac Corp. from July 2012 to October 2014, where they were responsible for scheduling machines and motivating operators.

Alex Dempsey received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology/Technician from Mississippi State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they also obtained additional certifications, including a Tire Mold Inspection Course from Yokohama Mold Company in December 2014, an OSHA-10 Certification from East Mississippi Community College in 2014, and an ACT WorkKeys Platinum Certificate from Jones County Junior College in November 2012.
