Jaakko Kemppainen has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being a Development Manager & ERP key user at Plugit Finland, where they are responsible for developing the Odoo open-source ERP system. Prior to this, they worked at FläktGroup Finland in various roles, including Technical Sales Support Manager, Product Owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementation, and Manufacturing Manager. Jaakko also served as a System Integration Specialist at FläktGroup Finland, where they facilitated key-user trainings and managed project implementations. Before joining FläktGroup Finland, Jaakko held roles such as Production Supervisor at FläktGroup Finland, Production Planner at Metso, and Production Planner and Subcontracting Coordinator at Konecranes. Jaakko also gained experience as a Warehouse Worker at Konecranes, Onninen, and Konecranes. Jaakko has strong expertise in production planning, ERP systems, and warehouse operations.

Jaakko Kemppainen completed their Matriculation examination at Hyvinkään yhteiskoulun lukio from 2009 to 2012. Jaakko then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information and knowledge management from Tampere University of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Information and knowledge management from Tampere University from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Trucklift license from Rocla Oy in June 2012. Jaakko Kemppainen also briefly studied Business and technology management as a part of their Master's degree program at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 2018.
