Emmet O'Connell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emmet began their career at SuperPower Inc. as a Summer Engineering Intern, where they conducted evaluative testing and established process windows for a prototypic superconductor copper structure lamination test bed. Emmet also designed test setups and wrote SOPs for measuring residual resistivity of superconductors and tested the viability of ultrasonic wash for wire applications.

After their internship, Emmet worked at Union College as an Engineering Lab Technician and later as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.
