Arwin Roos has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Arwin is currently working as a Project Director at Plug Power since January 2022, where they are responsible for the development of a zero-emission high-power fuel cell for larger applications. Prior to their current role, Arwin Roos worked at Frames from 2008 to 2021, holding various roles including Project Director and Project Manager. At Frames, they managed oil and gas projects and led multiple international project teams. Before that, Arwin Roos worked as a Sales Engineer at Eriks Aandrijftechniek from 2006 to 2008, and as a Project Engineer at Xylem Water Solutions Benelux from 2003 to 2006, where they specialized in managing projects in the waste water industry.
Arwin Roos has a diverse education history that spans several years. Their most recent educational experience was from 1999 to 2003, where they attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences and earned a Bs degree in Mechanics.
Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, Arwin attended Da Vinci College in Dordrecht, where they obtained an MTS degree in Werktuigbouwkunde (Mechanical Engineering).
Before their time at Da Vinci College, Arwin attended De Vaan (zuiderpark college, Rotterdam) from 1991 to 1995. Here, they completed their program in LTS (VMBO C/D) with a specialization in Fijn Mechanische Technieken (Fine Mechanical Techniques).
Arwin's earliest education was at De Groen van Prinsteren in Barendrecht, where they attended from 1983 to 1991. Arwin completed their primary education here, receiving a degree in Lagere School (Elementary School).
In addition to their formal education, Arwin also holds various certifications. Arwin obtained a VCA-Vol (HSE) certification from VCANederland in March 2004. Other certifications include Commerciële Buitendienst (2006) from NCOI, EHBO Diploma (First Aid) from Het Oranje Kruis, and Interne Auditing (ISO9001:2008 en ISO 19011:2002) in 2011 from AVR Vision Consult.
