Matthew Claxton is a Partner and Global Director of Sustainability at Plug and Play Tech Center since November 2018, where Matthew co-founded the Global Sustainability Vertical and developed programs across ten international offices. Claxton has created various accelerator programs focused on Circular Economy, Carbon Neutrality, Sustainable Fashion, Clean Resources, and ShelterTech. Additionally, Claxton is actively involved as an investor in multiple companies, including Vaulted Deep, Rubi Laboratories, rePurpose Global, Heirloom, Epoch Biodesign, KETOS, and Checkerspot. Prior to their current role, Claxton served as a Business System Analyst at Xperi Corporation and has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with professional development courses from Stanford.
