Md. Saiful Islam is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as a Maternal Health Monitoring Officer at Research, Training and Management (RTM) International, where Md. Saiful focuses on Maternal and Perinatal Mortality Surveillance and Response as part of a UNFPA humanitarian project. Additionally, Saiful is an Academic Editor with the Public Library of Science (PLOS), contributing to the PLoS ONE Editorial Board. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Intern at icddr,b, Research Associate at Quest Bangladesh Biomedical Research Center, and Research Assistant at the Institute of Allergy and Clinical Immunology of Bangladesh, with a strong focus on epidemiological research and mental health. Saiful holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) from Jahangirnagar University.
