Dr. Ahmed Meri is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse background in engineering and quality assurance. Currently serving as an Academic Editor at PLOS since August 2023, Dr. Meri has also held the position of Head of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Hussain University College since March 2019, alongside a role as Senior Lecturer at Al-Hussain Engineering College since September 2018. Prior to these roles, Dr. Meri was the Chief Executive Officer at BePositive Technologies from October 2019 to July 2020 and completed a Doctoral Researcher role at The National University of Malaysia from September 2015 to July 2018. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Communication from the Arts, Sciences, and Technology University in Lebanon (AUL), and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer and Communications Engineering from MUC.
