Nilofar Raeofy is a skilled research professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Research Associate II at Pliant Therapeutics since August 2021, Nilofar specializes in the design and synthesis of small molecule inhibitors and the development and validation of analytical methods such as HPLC and UPLC. Previously, as an Atmospheric Scientist at the University of California, Riverside, from September 2019 to June 2021, Nilofar conducted research on the microphysical properties of secondary organic aerosol particles. Additionally, experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville involved investigating multicomponent coupling reactions for the synthesis of biologically-active compounds. Nilofar holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from prestigious institutions, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology.
