Atul Kamath is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine since November 2018 and the Founder of Kamath Orthopedics, serving as an Orthopedic Surgeon since March 2014. Previous roles include Orthopedic Surgeon and Professor at Cleveland Clinic from September 2018 to September 2024, where responsibilities included Global Vice Chair for Quality, Safety & Patient Experience, Director of the Center for Hip Preservation, Innovation Lead for Orthopedics, and involvement in the Adult Reconstruction Research Program. Atul also directed the Center for Hip Preservation at Penn Medicine from 2013 to 2018 and completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester, receiving the Mark Coventry Award. Educational credentials include degrees from Harvard Medical School, a Master of Business Administration from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and a background with the Maurice Müller Foundation of North America.
