Tina Brøgger Sørensen is a partner in the team for Employment and Labor Law, and she specializes in employment and labor law as well as personal data law.
Tina has considerable experience in advising employers in employment law, including cases of discrimination, company transfers, stock exchange listings, incentive programs, redundancies in connection with restructuring, rationalization and closure of companies as well as directorships. She also has experience with the aspects of employment and personal data law in connection with investigations. Tina represents companies in cases at the Equal Treatment Board and has advised clients in a number of principled legal cases of general, public importance, just as she has represented a company in a case at the European Court of Justice.
In addition, Tina has extensive experience with personal data legal advice. Tina advises in all areas of personal data law matters, including the preparation and implementation of data protection documents, making assessments in relation to personal data law obligations such as, for example, the preparation of impact analyses, documents in relation to the transfer of personal data to third countries, etc., advice in cases of security breaches as well as assistance in relation to all forms of communication with the data protection authority and disputes.
Tina is internationally certified in European personal data law (CIPP/E) and has worked for several years as an IAPP-approved official instructor of CIPP/E training courses.
Tina has extensive experience in lecturing at both national and international conferences as well as teaching matters related to employment and personal data law.
Among other things, Tina has published podcasts and a large number of articles and newsletters on personal data protection and the intersection between employment law rules and personal data law.
