Steven Ivey is an experienced safety and compliance professional with a career spanning multiple organizations and roles. Currently serving as the Director of Safety and Compliance for Parklife Metro at Plenary Group since May 2023, Ivey previously held the position of Head of Safety and Assurance at Network Rail Consulting from July 2016 to June 2023. Prior experience includes Principal Manager of Safety, Systems Compliance, and Accreditation at Transport for NSW and various roles at RailCorp, including Safety Systems Compliance and Accreditation Director and System Safety Specialist. Ivey's career began at BAE Systems, where significant contributions were made as System Safety Team Leader and Airworthiness Group Leader, ensuring the airworthiness management of military aircraft. Ivey holds an MSc in Safety Engineering from Lancaster University.
