Susan Taves is an accomplished board member with extensive experience in governance and financial oversight. Currently, Taves serves on the Board of Trustees and Audit Committee for Plaza REIT, focusing on retail properties across Canada. Additionally, Taves is a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for Enova Power Corp., overseeing hydro distribution services. As Chair of the Audit Committee at TMX Group, Taves contributes to the regulation of transfer agent services for listed companies. Taves also holds a governance role at The Skyline Group of Companies and chairs the Governance Committee for KINDRED Credit Union, which serves a significant member base in Ontario. Taves previously led the Financial Advisory Practice at BDO Canada for two decades. Educational qualifications include participation in the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Economics and Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
