Celeste Soto is an accomplished professional in the sports and nonprofit sectors with a proven track record in leadership and development roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director for Playworks Southern California since July 2019, Celeste has held consecutive positions such as Associate Director of Development and Director of Development within the organization. Prior to this, Celeste spent six years with LA Galaxy, working up from Community Events Coordinator to Senior Manager of the LA Galaxy Foundation & Community Relations. Earlier experience includes roles with the Los Angeles Kings as a VIP Services Intern, and various developmental and event coordination positions with San Diego State University, Hellas Construction, and GEM - Gaslamp Event Management. Celeste holds a Master of Arts in Kinesiology with a focus on Sport Management from California State University, Long Beach, and is pursuing an MBA at Southern New Hampshire University.
