Michael Boyd is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at PlayVS since May 2022, Michael previously held similar managerial roles at Indigo and Rakuten Rewards, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining features for the Checkout/Vault API platform and leading high-performing teams. With a foundational career that began as a Technical Support Engineer at Qualcomm and led through various engineering roles, including a Senior Software Engineer and Frontend Engineer at Rakuten, Michael has consistently demonstrated expertise in web application development, project management, and Agile methodologies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
