Juha Huhtakallio is an accomplished gaming industry professional with extensive experience in leadership, education, and game development. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Edugametion since October 2019, Juha also holds the position of General Manager at PlayStack while running a development studio in Helsinki and exploring game opportunities in the Nordic, Baltics, and Russia regions. Juha is the creator and organizer of Finland's largest game competition, Bit1.fi, and has held roles such as CEO at Wave 7 Games and Hisome, as well as Head of Incubator for the Baltic Game Industry project at Metropolia. Juha's commitment to education is reflected in a career spanning over a decade as a game design teacher, contributing to various institutions, including Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where Juha was instrumental in building game education and managing the Game Studio. Juha holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and has a background in computer programming from Espoon Kauppaopisto.
