Somer Rochow has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. From 2004 to 2008, Rochow worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, specializing in alternative investments and serving high-net worth female clients. In 2006, Rochow briefly worked as a Contributing Writer for Jacksonville Luxury Living Magazine. From 2008 to 2009, Rochow held the position of Director of Business Development at Piedmont Investment Advisory, focusing on investment strategies. Rochow then worked as a Director of Business Development at West Mountain, LLC from 2008 to 2010, where the company managed multi-strategy Fund of Funds. Rochow co-founded Endurance Strategies, LLC in 2008 and served as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner until 2011. The company aimed to provide non-correlated investment opportunities. Rochow was also the Managing Director at Keel Funds, LLC and White Crow, LLC from 2011 to 2014, where Rochow oversaw various business operations. Rochow was the Chief Operating Officer at High Road Craft Ice Cream, Inc. from 2014 to 2015. In 2011, Rochow founded and served as the CEO and CCO of Heed Partners, LLC, a broker-dealer specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private placements. Currently, Rochow holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and Director of Professional Services at Platform28.

Somer Rochow began their education at Trinity School from 1987 to 1990. Somer then attended Westminster High School from 1992 to 1996. Following high school, they enrolled at the University of Virginia and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Rochow continued their education at the same university and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations and Affairs from 1996 to 2000. In 1998, they also spent a brief period studying Art History, Italian, and Culinary Arts at Lorenzo Di Medici. Additionally, Rochow pursued further education at The Institute of Culinary Education, specializing in Culinary Arts and Management from 2003 to 2004.
