Matthew Stanger has a diverse work experience in the media industry, specializing in football. Matthew is currently the Creative Director at Platform Media. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead Editor at SPORTbible within LADbible Group. Before joining LADbible Group, Matthew was the Head of Football at JOE Media from 2018 to 2020. Matthew also worked as a Freelancer, where they covered various football events for media outlets such as The Guardian, Independent, ESPN, and BBC. In 2016, Matthew served as the Editor and Project Manager at Totally Communications Ltd, where they managed content strategy and established partnerships with high-profile brands. Matthew was also the Founding Editor of the start-up men's lifestyle website JOE.co.uk. Matthew began their career at Sky, where they held roles such as Deputy Editor at Football365.com and Multimedia Journalist.

Matthew Stanger attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
