Alice Hui has a diverse work experience in the field of biology. Alice started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Seamstress at the University of Missouri from September 2004 to July 2008. Alice then joined Iowa State University in August 2008, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant until January 2015. During their time at Iowa State University, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2013 to December 2013. In 2016, Alice worked as a Biologist at Belcan Services at Monsanto from September 2016 to February 2017. Alice then took on the role of Biologist again at Belcan Services at Monsanto from March 2017 to December 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Production Scientist at Antibody Research Corporation from July 2018 to January 2019. Currently, Alice is employed as a Molecular Biologist at Plastomics, Inc. starting from January 2019.
Alice Hui obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Molecular Biology at Iowa State University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2015.
