Prabhu Rajagopal began their work experience in 2010 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they served in various roles including Faculty in charge of the Centre for Innovation, Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. In their role as Assistant Professor, Prabhu conducted research on Sonic and Ultrasonic techniques for Nondestructive Evaluation, Structural Health Monitoring, and Process Control. Prabhu joined Hedera as a Council Member in 2021 and has been a Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Technical Committee at the Chennai Chapter of the Indian Society of Nondestructive Testing since 2020. Prabhu also serves as an Associate Editor for Ultrasonics Journal at Elsevier since 2020 and as an Advisor for NDT at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, ARTC since 2018. Prabhu co-founded and served as a strategist for XYMA Analytics Pvt Ltd, Solinas Integrity Pvt. Ltd., and Planys Technologies. Additionally, Prabhu worked as a freelance writer for the Ministry of External Affairs, India from 2019 to 2020.
Prabhu Rajagopal obtained their Master of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Intelligent Manufacturing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Prabhu completed this program between 1998 and 2003. Following this, they pursued a PhD degree in Ultrasonic Inspection at Imperial College London from 2003 to 2007.
