Ellen Davis

Associate Director, Grants And Donor Engagement at Plant With Purpose

Ellen Davis has a diverse work experience with various organizations. Ellen started their career in 2008 as an Afterschool Instructor at Alameda LEAPS Programs. Ellen then worked as a Journalism Intern at Action Alliance for Children, where they conducted interviews and wrote articles. In 2009, they joined AmeriCorps - Habitat for Humanity East Bay as a Homeowner Relations Coordinator, where they handled homeowner inquiries and wrote newsletters. Ellen then interned at Heifer International in 2011 as an Impact Evaluation Surveyor, performing surveys and processing data. Ellen worked as a Grant Writer at Voices for Children, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are associated with Plant With Purpose, where they have held various roles, including Grant Writer, Development Operations Coordinator, Development Operations Manager, and Associate Director of Grants and Donor Engagement.

Ellen Davis pursued their education at the University of California, Davis from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. Later on, they attended UC San Diego from 2010 to 2012, earning a Master's degree in International Development and Nonprofit Management.
