Josef Wagner is an experienced Project Manager specializing in joining technologies, currently working at Plansee - starke Metalle since March 2007, overseeing welding and brazing of Molybdenum and Tungsten. In addition to project management, Josef has served as an Innovation Manager, organizing the innovation process and the 18th Plansee Seminar, and has a background as a Research Analyst focused on evaluating new markets for Molybdenum- and Tungsten-based products. Josef has also managed projects related to the manufacturing of prototypes for the ITER Divertor. Prior to this role, Josef worked as a Project Manager for CVD Hard Coatings at Materials Center Leoben Forschungs GmbH, developing TiN-based coatings. Josef holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Material Science from Montanuniversität Leoben, complemented by a short educational experience at Luleå University of Technology. Additionally, Josef balances professional responsibilities with the role of a full-time dad to three children.
