Tyrell White, Ed.D., NBCT, currently serves as the Director of Special Education at Plano ISD since July 2023. With over a decade of experience in various districts, Tyrell has held multiple leadership roles, including Executive Director of Special Services at Midland ISD and Senior Director for Special Services at Beaumont Independent School District. From 2007 to 2013, Tyrell gained valuable experience as a Special Education Teacher and Mentor Teacher at Dallas Independent School District, focusing on the implementation of Individual Education Plans for students in special education. Tyrell holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Special Education from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Texas Christian University, a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Education/Human Services from the University of North Texas, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Education from Dallas College.
