Jim Thomason is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales engineering and business development across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Imagery Products at Planet since March 2017, Jim leverages a strong business and customer perspective to enhance product offerings. Previous roles include Vice President of Presales & Postsales, where Jim focused on technical sales and global customer success, and Branch Director at Comfort Systems USA with full P&L responsibility. Earlier career highlights include leadership positions at Huninn Mesh Networks, SCIenergy, C&C Building Automation, and FMC Technologies, where Jim drove sales strategies and managed engineering operations.
