Irene Benito Rodríguez currently serves as the Senior Manager for European Affairs at Planet, where involvement includes membership in the Scientific Committee for ESA's Living Planet Symposium 2022. Additionally, Irene holds the position of Earth Observation Evangelist for Raw Materials at the European Forum for Earth Observation, advocating for the benefits of Earth Observation in the raw materials sector. Previous roles include Copernicus Programme Manager at EIT RawMaterials, Innovation Policy Analyst at the European Commission, and Economic Research Officer at NERA Economic Consulting, among others. Irene's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath, complemented by an MBA Summer School Program at IESE Business School.
