Camile Söthe is an Applied Remote Sensing Scientist at Finite Carbon since May 2022, focusing on carbon storage and distribution in terrestrial ecosystems. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at McMaster University from January 2020 to April 2022, and a Doctoral Researcher position at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais from March 2016 to January 2020, where research centered on remote sensing and land cover mapping. Camile also served as Environmental Police at PolÃcia Militar de Santa Catarina from March 2011 to July 2016, involving environmental crime surveillance and project feasibility analysis, and as an intern at Embrapa, participating in research in the Brazilian Amazon. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Remote Sensing from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais and a Master's degree in Forest Engineering from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering from the same institution.
